OUTDOOR AIR-COOLED PRODUCTS:
Outdoor chillers are rated for ambient conditions from -20°F
up to as high as +120°F. They are air-cooled, meaning
that they use fans to dissipate the heat rejected by the
refrigeration
system through the condenser coils.
These units may actually serve as "tap water replacement" chillers.
However, most demanding applications use a specialty heat
transfer fluid (HTF) that spans a wide temperature range
and is not susceptible to freezing in the winter weather.
Mydax Air-Cooled chillers are most often
recommended when one or more of the following are required:
