DECEMBER 2006: Mydax
announces 24% growth in 2006!
Mydax continues to grow, meeting the needs of a demanding
industry. Strong products this year have been the 2-channel
VLH-Series
chiller/heaters. These units, designed originally
for the pharmaceutical industry, are competitive solutions
for
Aerospace and Automotive stress testing, as well as Fiber
Optic production applications. They are used where high power
cooling is required at low temperatures, combined with the
ability to heat the same fluid to temperatures
as high
as +150°C.
Again, Mydax is grateful to you, our customers. We thank
you for your continuing business and wish you all
success in the new year!
Merry Christmas
and Happy New Year !
FEBRUARY 2006: HAPPY
20TH ANNIVERSARY!
Founded in February 1986, Mydax has delivered custom chiller/heater
and temperature control systems for 20 years.
With an impressive
list of customers in diversified markets, Mydax continues
to be a leader in difficult, wide-temperature applications.
If you have a unique need, let Mydax provide a solution.
Our quality products stand the test of time!

DECEMBER 2004: Mydax receives
two patents for High Flux Heat Removal System.
Mydax has been granted two patents to address
concerns of high heat removal requirements as future high-density
technology comes of age.
A cooling system for apparatus powered by
electricity that generates a substantial amount of heat
during operation
and the heat must be dissipated to avoid failure of electrical
and/or electronic components such as semiconductor devices
and integrated circuits comprising the electrical apparatus.
US Patent 6,793,007: High
flux heat removal system using liquid ice.
One cooling system employs liquid
ice impinged on a heat sink thermally coupled with electrical
apparatus.
The attendant
phase changes of the liquid ice first to water and then to
steam remove a substantial amount of waste heat to prevent
failure of the electrical apparatus.
US Patent 6,827,135 B1: High flux
heat removal system using jet impingement of water at subatmospheric
pressure.
Another cooling system
employs water impinged on a heat sink thermally coupled with
electrical
apparatus,
at subatmospheric
pressure. The attendant phase change of the water to
steam at a reduced temperature due to the subatmospheric
pressure
improves removal of waste heat to prevent failure of
the electrical apparatus.

MARCH 2004: Mydax lands major OEM contract with
Integrated Biosystems.
Mydax's leading-edge technology wins a record
contract with Integrated Biosystems (IBI) to produce their
next generation
process control chillers. The CU5000 is built to IBI's specifications
using Mydax's patented, world-leading technology.
"With years of development effort in this product,
IBI has a temperature control system designed specifically
to
meet
the high demands
of the BioPharm
Industry." says Rick Pugel, Senior Engineer at Mydax.
